Quality
As boring as watching.....
Watching paint dry may not be everyone's idea of heaven, but watching it not dry can certainly be close to hell. HMG's team of quality managers includes every single member of staff from the day they start to the day they move on and quality issues feature centrally in everybody's working lives.
In days gone by quality control took place at the end of the process, but now quality control IS the process. Working as we do with many natural materials and complex feed stocks, a full understanding of what quality means is integral to being part of the HMG team. But quality doesn't stop when the job is done successfully, it merely leads to the next question, which is how could we do this better?
Practically perfect?
Whilst Mary Poppins was practically perfect in every way, at HMG we are honest enough to admit that we occasionally make mistakes and we hope that our customers will be able to admit that sometimes they do too! Fortunately the supply of paint is not a closed deal, but an opened relationship and HMG's ability to put corrective action in place, regardless of fault and to honestly admit that occasionally we get it wrong, is an important part of our partnership with our customers.
