Login/Datasheets fix
The login system and datasheets are now back to full working order after a caching issue cropped up which prevented both systems from functioning properly
Thank you for your patience with this matter

I noticed that since the switchover to hmgpaint.com my login system hasn’t been functioning correctly - the login only lasted as long as the session rather than as long as the login cookie… eventually I realised I was still using the dev domain for the cookie, therefore rendering it invalid
The issue should be resolved now
I’ve also made a few modifications to the login procedure:
I’ve had to switch the new website over to hmgpaint.com for numerous reasons, however I’ve made an archive of the old website available
If you need something from the old HMG website which isn’t available on this new website, you can access the archive here:
Please note however that you should register with this new website as the old website will soon be discontinued completely
I’m pleased to say that I’ve just finished converting the Knowledge Base documents from the old HMG website into the format of this new website.
The documents are available as the original PDFs and now also as HTML (which looks a lot nicer I must say!)
Check it out here:
The new knowledge base will be updated much more often and our Lab Manager Steve Crossman has informed me that he has a stack of stuff to add to it!
Thanks to Irene, I have created the first shared calendar for HMG Paints Internal Holidays 2006 (XML, iCal)
You can use these shared calendars with Google Calendar or other calendar software which supports the standard iCal format
If you don’t have access to Google Calendar, you should create a Google Account first.. adding the HMG Paints Internal Holiday 2006 shared calendar to your calendar overview is as simple as pasting the XML link above into the ’search public calendars’ text box
A couple of useful shared calendars you can add:
I’ll be doing events and other calendars soon too, watch this space!
