HMG knows it's future is in it's employees and as such supports employees with further educational development and training throughout their careers. HMG was amongst the first 100 companies in the UK to sign the Government Skills Pledge, making a commitment that every eligible employee will be helped to gain basic skills and a level two qualification (broadly equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grades A* – C)

Many members of the HMG work force have received on the job training as well as external training.
Over the last few years alone HMG has supported its staff through various qualifications including:

• MBA's
• MSc's

As well as investing in its own employees HMG Paints has organised many courses for its customers on a wide variety of subjects. HMG's ability to train customers in specific skills is one reason HMG is seen as the paint supplier of choice for many of our customers.
